1. Create an ideal client/customer avatar.
Imagine your ideal client. What are their needs and wants? What would they see as an "added value" that your other competitors just don't bring to the table? The easiest way to imagine your ideal client/customer is to think of them as a legitimate human being. Here are some questions you can ask yourself when building your avatar:
What stores do they shop at?
What tv shows do they watch?
What news stories are they interested in?
2. Analyze Your Competition.
What are your competitors offering that you're not? Try to make a list of three differentiator's and make sure that each product and/or service you're selling has your own unique spin!
3. Reinforce your message until you're blue in the face.
Seriously though, reinforcing your message is one of the most important things you can do for your brand. Consumers need to read things over and over again before they make a buying decision. When was the last time you posted your brand's messaging on your social channels? Is it clear on your website?
4. Make sure you're consistent.
Consistency is the key to developing a strong brand. Make sure your message is consistent everywhere - Your website, social media channels, etc. Confused customers will never buy.
